A Cozy Moment of Serenity with Lovely Day in Violet

It is my turn to share some creative inspiration on the blog today.

There is something so deeply comforting about slowing down and enjoying a quiet moment - a warm cup of tea, an open book, and the peaceful aroma of blooming lilacs. This handmade card was created to capture that exact feeling of cozy elegance and mindful relaxation.

For this project, I worked with the breathtaking "Lovely Day in Violet" collection from Scrap And Me. The soft, dusty violet palette combined with muted sage green creates such a tranquil, sophisticated atmosphere.

At the center of the design is a beautiful illustration of a woman relaxing in a plush armchair, surrounded by delicate details - an open book adorned with flowers, a fluttering butterfly, and lush floral clusters. To give the composition depth and an ornate, vintage feel, I layered the focal image over a intricate white die-cut circular frame.

I finished the piece with a hand-dyed, softly crinkled ribbon in a matching lavender tone and a simple "Best Wishes" sentiment. It's a sweet reminder to pause, breathe, and appreciate the quiet beauty in life - making it the perfect greeting for someone special.

Zwolnienie tempa i delektowanie się chwilą ciszy ma w sobie coś niezwykle kojącego – ciepłą filiżankę herbaty, otwartą książkę i kojący aromat kwitnących bzów. Ta manualnie robiona kartka powstała, aby uchwycić to właśnie uczucie przytulnej elegancji i uważnego relaksu.

W tym projekcie wykorzystałam zapierającą dech w piersiach kolekcję „Lovely Day in Violet” od Scrap And Me. Delikatna, przydymiona paleta fioletów w połączeniu z stonowaną szałwiową zielenią tworzy spokojną, wyrafinowaną atmosferę.

W centrum projektu znajduje się piękna ilustracja kobiety relaksującej się w pluszowym fotelu, otoczonej delikatnymi detalami – otwartą książką ozdobioną kwiatami, trzepoczącym motylem i bujnymi kwiatowymi kępami. Aby nadać kompozycji głębi i ozdobnego, vintage'owego charakteru, nałożyłam główny obraz na misterną, białą, wycinaną ramkę.

Udekorowałam całość manualnie farbowaną, delikatnie marszczoną wstążką w pasującym lawendowym odcieniu oraz prostym napisem „Best Wishes”. To miłe przypomnienie, by zatrzymać się, odetchnąć i docenić ciche piękno życia – dzięki czemu jest to idealne pozdrowienie dla kogoś wyjątkowego.
