MAYOHK to japoński projekt tworzony przez dwóch niezwykle ważnych artystów sceny Visual Kei i dark electronic- Köziego, legendarnego gitarzystę i współzałożyciela kultowego MALICE MIZER, oraz Horę, kompozytora i muzyka znanego przede wszystkim z działalności w Schwarz Stein.

Közi to jedna z najbardziej rozpoznawalnych postaci w historii japońskiego Visual Kei. Jako współzałożyciel MALICE MIZER współtworzył jeden z najważniejszych i najbardziej ikonicznych zespołów tego nurtu w latach 90. Jego charakterystyczny styl artystyczny i muzyczny wykraczał jednak daleko poza działalność zespołu. Közi z powodzeniem rozwijał karierę solową, a także angażował się w liczne projekty muzyczne, konsekwentnie eksperymentując z brzmieniem i formą.

Drugą połowę MAYOHK stanowi Hora- kompozytor, producent i muzyk, który od lat związany jest z japońską sceną dark electronic. To właśnie on stoi za charakterystycznym brzmieniem Schwarz Stein, łączącym elektronikę z inspiracjami muzyką gotycką, industrialną i synthpopem. Jego twórczość wyróżnia się mrocznym, hipnotycznym klimatem i dbałością o elektroniczne detale.
