Ludwig Klimek, Portrait of a Lady Half-length portrait of a lightly clad young woman in an armchair, expressive, impasto painting with broad brushstrokes in powerful colours, oil on canvas, c. 1970, signed “Klimek” lower left, invoice from the Monte Carlo auction house dated 2019 attached on the reverse, minor craquelure, small chips of paint, somewhat in need of restoration, framed in gilt stucco molding, folded dimensions approx. 73 x 50 cm. Dawno nie reklamowałem prac Ludwika Klimka na blogu – jest ich wiele na rynku i szukam tych odmiennych. W Niemczech będzie sprzedany bardzo interesujący portret pięknej młodej kobiety z wielkimi oczami (modelka, aktorka?) i takim portretem warto zainteresować się bo zawsze bedą kierowane oczy na tę pracę. Obok tego portretu dwa rysunki połączone z gwaszem, tanie ale świadczące o sprawności malarskiej artysty.
