With #Bridgerton returning to our screens today, we’re sharing a reminder of the invaluable work actor and IRC ambassador, Adjoa Andoh, does to amplify the voices of refugees from around the world.

Here, Adjoa visited the IRC center in Gdynia, Poland, where women, girls and children receive vital psychological support and take part in community-building sessions.

Adjoa met with Ukrainian women who fled everything to keep their children safe. She spoke with them about the isolation and anxiety they face, and the agonizing uncertainty about loved ones left behind as violence continues.

Her message remains more pertinent than ever before: “We need to see each other. We’re not refugees and not refugees—we’re all human beings.”
