Rapture to śfińska kapela powstała u schyłku lat 90., mocno zainfekowana dokonaniami Katatonii z czasu BMD i trochę późniejszego. Moim skromnym z powodzeniem się do klimatu katatonicznych zbliżyła. Najbardziej doomowy debiut nawiązuje do BMD / DO, na dwóch kolejnych płytach więcej już przebojowości i typowo fińskiego rockowanka, choć fascynacja Szwedami dalej mocno słyszalna.
Zespół od ponad 20 lat nieaktywny, członkowie zajęci innymi projektami w bardzo różnych klimatach. Albo po prostu się opierdalają.
