Film “The Undercurrent” Rory Pilgrima, skupia się na pragnieniach i emocjach „ostatniego pokolenia”, miłości i siostrzeństwie w erze wielkiego wymierania. Pilgrim pracował z grupę nastolatków z Boise (Idaho, USA), zaangażowanych w aktywizm klimatyczny, podejmując kwestie dojrzewania, religii, płci, przyjaźni, jak i bezdomności. Film jest częścią większego projektu poświęconego kryzysowi klimatycznemu, składającego się także z warsztatów, koncertów, rysunków, obiektów, field trips, rękodzieła, vlogów etc.

Directed by Rory Pilgrim, The Undercurrent focuses on the desires and emotions of the “last generation,” as well as love and sisterhood in the era of the great extinction. Pilgrim worked with a group of teenagers from Boise (Idaho, USA) involved in climate activism. The film addresses themes of adolescence, religion, gender, friendship, as well as homelessness (it also features people who rely on the help of Interfaith Sanctuary Shelter). It is part of a larger project dedicated to the climate crisis, consisting of workshops, concerts, drawings, objects, field trips, handicrafts, vlogs, etc.
