Dziś z cyklu "kataton po piątej wareczce" zaprezentuję wam kultowy fiński kapel, a mianowicie Thy Serpent.

A zresztą, cóż tu prezentować - zespół jest powszechnie znany i szanowany. Wystarczy wpisać nazwę w wyszukiwarce i już wyskoczą wam rozliczne peany jak ten poniżej:

Thy Serpent straszne gówno.

Dziś odświeżyłem sobie dwa pierwsze pełniaki. Przenoszą one niewątpliwie do lat 90. Klimatyczne blekowanie bez blekowania, mnóstwo klawiszy i takie tam sprawy. Ogólnie fajna muzyczka, gdy w leci w tle, ale skrajnie nieabsorbująca.

Trójeczka to ich jedyna urozmaicona płytka. W tytułowym kawałku pokazali pazurki (był on na tyle ekstremalny, iż lider nie umieścił tekstu we wkładkach, co by smutni panowie do niego nie zapukali). No i mamy też dwie najlepsze kompozycje, czyli "Curtain..." i "Calm blinking".
Mam do tego wydawnictwa ten dodatkowy sentyment, iż słuchając go wpadłem onegdaj po zakrapianej imprezie do rowu.

Zespół od ponad trzech dekad aktywny. Ale splity nagrywa już nie z takimi firmami jak Nightwish czy Children of Bodom, ale z Ash Pool tudzież Goatmoon i Wolfnacht (ten drugi przyjemny). To chyba upadek?
